Ivan is the head of the household. The manager of an Internet cafe, he is always busy. When he has free time, he likes walking Peif the family dog and playing computer games.

Olga is Ivan's wife. She works in a library but spends most of her time raising the family. At home, she is in charge of everything.

Tanya is the oldest child. A freelance artist, she dreams of meeting and marrying a handsome Italian guy. She spends her free time on different dating and social networking sites.

Boris is the younger son. A student who also plays in a rock band, he considers himself to be an “advanced Internet-user.”

Victor is the Kalinovskys' neighbor. A young scientist, he is hopelessly in love with Tanya, although he tries to conceal it as best he can.

Peif is the family's beloved pet. He looks like an ordinary dog, but is, in fact, a superhero, a real Internet star. This is why he is called Peif, as in “Pet Expert on Internet Filtering.”
